As the fall 2024 semester concluded and Palauan’s students begin the winter/spring 2025 term, the Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) has started disbursing over $2.3 million in financial assistance to over 267 recipients.
Ms. Bars Williams, a junior at UH Manoa, and Ms. Maylean Benjamin, a senior online at EOU, were both awarded a full scholarship for spring 2025 and they join 14 other students. To be a recipient of a full scholarship, you must be a Palauan citizen, at least a junior in college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and majoring in a high priority field. Awards are distributed annually in two equal installments: the first at the beginning of the fall semester and the second at the start of winter or spring, contingent on the submission of fall grades and the upcoming term’s class schedule. Recipients are advised to manage their funds carefully, as future award amounts depend on available funds and the number of eligible students.
