The 2016 International Youth Ambassador Interactive Program, widely known as Taiwan Youth Ambassador, will feature a 26-member delegation from the Republic of China (Taiwan) paying a four-day goodwill visit to Palau on August 27-30, 2016. [restrict]

In the evening of August 29 at 6:30 pm, a spectacular performance, themed “Dynamic Youth, Friendly Taiwan” and presented in forms of dance and music, will take place at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center. The general public is cordially invited by the Taiwan Embassy to attend the event and enjoy the performance. Limited dinner bentos will be humbly served on site.

During its brief sojourn in Palau, Taiwan Youth Ambassador Delegation is expected to meet students of Palau Community College and Mindszenty High School. It is also scheduled to visit Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM), Taiwan Aquaculture Project (AP), Taiwan Animal Production Project (APP), Belau National Museum (BNM), and some famous cultural heritages in Babeldaob.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan), launched the Taiwan Youth Ambassador Program in 2009, aiming to encourage youth participation in the international affairs and to enhance mutual understanding between Taiwan and the countries it pays visit to. The Youth Ambassadors this year are divided into 5 groups, which will visit 22 cities in 20 countries. Palau is the first leg of the five-country journey, ensued by the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia and Tuvalu.
