The Bureau of Public Health is inviting the public to attend the 8th Public Health Convention that will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center. The theme of this year’s Convention is: “Your Health. Own It. Improve It. Live It.”

The one-day convention will have plenary sessions featuring various speakers from the Bureau of Public Health and partners from the community. There will also be breakout sessions in the afternoon featuring the priority thematic areas which guide the Bureau’s internal and external collaborative work. Registration will open at 7:30am and the public is invited to attend the convention free of charge and participate in these sessions.
The Bureau of Public Health also informs the public that most public health offices and departments will closed for attendance on the convention on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, however all essential public health clinics and services will remain open.
