On November 22, 2017, the Palau Visitors Authority held a PVA TripAdvisor BootCamp to introduce Palau’s Dedicated Page and advertisement banners in TripAdvisor.com. Conducted by TripAdvisor’s Gary Cheng, the BootCamp provided informative tips and encouraged business owners to maximize their marketing edge by signing up for FREE. PVA’s TripAdvisor Team will be visiting business establishments throughout the Koror community to provide this information to those who could not attend the BootCamp.

TripAdvisor is an exciting platform to advertise your business. In fact, it involves 700+ tourism boards, tourism ministries, governments in the world and their impact is in the millions – 415 million unique monthly visitors, 123 million TripAdvisor members, 535 million reviews and opinions, and over 290 new contributions every minute. The Palau page will be focusing on the consumer markets in Japan, US, China, and Germany and will be available in four languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, and German.

In the first quarter since PVA has obtained the banner advertisements, these banners appeared over 2.5 million times to worldwide viewers. This drew nearly 7,000 clicks to the Palau TripAdvisor page. Accommodations, restaurants and attractions can be listed on TripAdvisor for FREE when you sign up. Reviews also increase your visibility and selling power for your business’ services.
