(Koror, Palau) Attorney General John Bradley submitted his resignation to President Tommy Remengesau Jr. on September 13, 2016, effective November 30, 2016. His resignation comes a month and half earlier than his contract term which is slated to complete on January 19, 2017.

In his letter he recommended Senior Assistant Attorney Evans Robbins as someone capable to hold the position of the Attorney General. According to AG Bradley, he had been working with Robbins closely in preparation for his departure.
“I am grateful you trusted me to serve in your administration,” stated AG Bradley in his letter. “The last 2 1/2 years have been extraordinary and I will always remember the generosity of your staff and the Palauan people,” he added.
AG John Bradley cites his family, his children and elderly parents for his decision to terminate earlier than his contract entails.
“I’m proud of the work we’ve done and leave with the confidence that the remaining staff will carry on and meet the high standards set by you,” said AG John Bradley.
