A man found death and floating in the ocean near Marine Law port in Malakal last Friday was identified as 56-year old Frank Hilbert from Ngebekuu, Ngerbeched.
He was reported missing by his family on Thursday, June 17 after he failed to return home on Tuesday. Search of his regular hangouts commenced on Thursday and on Friday his body was found in Malakal waters. According to official reports, his body was already showing signs of decomposition.
On Friday, videos from boats of people going out fishing, showed them passing by the body, which was floating face down in the water. They were shown covering their noses as they pass.
Mr. Hilbert is said to be friendly and nice person. His death is still under investigation according to BPS Director Ishmael Aquon. (By: L.N. Reklai)
