A memo from President’s Chief of Staff Secilil Eldebechel went out to all temporary or exempt appointments and employment contract employees to submit their courtesy resignations to President-elect Tommy E. Remengesau by December 30, 2016 and informing that all such employees’ employment will terminate on January 17, 2016.
“This will allow for President-elect to independently review his current staffing and make decisions for the new staffing arrangements for his next administration”, stated the Chief of Staff Eldebechel.
“We do not expect much change to our staffing, it is being requested that we all provide such courtesy resignations,” stated the memo.
This request memo was addressed only to employees. According to Press Secretary Olkeriil Kazuo, President and Chief of Staff will issue a memo to the Ministers and Boards separately. [/restrict]
