A tragic accident claims lives of two people late Saturday afternoon, August 29.
Kathy Bilibei, woman age 44 and Eric Ulechong, age 50, both died as result of a car crash when their CRV vehicle went off road across Melekeok police substation.
According reports, the two were returning from funeral in Ngiwal when somehow their vehicle went off the road and ran into an acacia tree on the side of the road across from the Melekeok police substation.
According to Ministry of Justice P.I.O ( public Information Officer) Jose Ise, the victims were found unresponsive and were later confirmed dead at the hospital.
No information was provided as the case according to MOJ is still under investigation.
