Early Saturday morning, a Palau High School teacher Dean Terry was driving to Ngerbodel from Echang going at high speed, lost control of his vehicle just after Mindzenty High School hitting the Mormon Church sign on the left side of the street and the solar street light on the side of the Garden Island Hotel.
The vehicle, a black SUV slammed into the fence on the side of the Garden Island Hotel and landing with its front down with one side resting against the side of hotel lobby.
According to unofficial report, he was returning from preparation for a funeral and fell asleep and lost control of his vehicle.
