Thursday, April 06, 2017- The Republic of Palau Ministry of Health (MOH) received a donation of ten (10) wheelchairs from the Chuo Rotary Club of Japan on Wednesday, April 05, 2017. The donation was presented by the following Chuo Rotary Club Members: Hiroyasu Abe, Aijiro Kodaka, Miko Kodaka, Ami Kodaka, Keisuke Yawata, Yoshimasa Ota, and Testuya Nitta. The group was accompanied by members of the Palau Rotary Club.

Palau Minister of Health Dr. Emais Roberts, on behalf of the Ministry of Health and the Belau National Hospital, would like to thank the Chuo Rotary Club for its generous donation. Recognition is also given to Delta Airlines for waiving the checked-in baggage fee for the wheelchairs and IMPAC Tours for providing free van transportation for the members while they are in Palau.
