Damara Jean Donald, Construction Inspector the Bureau of Public Works/Capital Improvement Program, will be attending JICA Knowledge Co-Creation Program called Bridge Maintenance.

As a participant, Donald will have the opportunity to learn methods of effective bridge management and maintenance. She will be able to prepare a Country Report which explores existing conditions and issues relating to the bridge maintenance and management, and approaches to address these issues. She will also be able to develop an Action Plan towards establishment of proper bridge maintenance cycle when she returns home.
The training will be held from February 26 to March 25, 2017 at the JICA Kyushu International Center in Fukuoka with nineteen other participants from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Liberia, Malawi, Marshall Islands, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Togo, Tunisia, Viet Nam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
