Taiwan MOFA and TaiwanICDF open doors for Palauan students
The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is pleased to announce two exceptional scholarship opportunities available to Palauan’s students for the 2025 academic year: the Taiwan MOFA Scholarship and the TaiwanICDF Scholarship. Both programs provide full scholarships, allowing Palauan students to pursue higher education in Taiwan with financial support.
This year’s MOFA Taiwan Scholarship reserves a total of 20 slots specifically for Palauan students. In addition, extra openings are available for those pursuing public health-related programs taught in English, providing wider access for individuals interested in this vital field.
Recipients of the MOFA Scholarship receive a monthly stipend of NT$28,000 for the one-year Pre-degree Mandarin Language Enrichment Program (LEP) and NT$33,000 for the four-year bachelor, master, and Ph.D. degree programs. Applicants must fill out the MOFA scholarship paper application form and apply online via the official MOFA scholarship website at https://taiwanscholarship.moe.gov.tw/Apply/ by March 15, 2025, and submit their paper application form along with all required documents to the Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) office.
In addition, the 2025 TaiwanICDF Scholarship is also available to outstanding students who are interested in studying for master’s and Ph.D. degrees. TaiwanICDF will cover all the tuition and dormitory fees. Scholarship holders will also receive a monthly allowance of NT$18,000 for master’s programs and NT$20,000 for Ph.D. programs. Interested candidates must submit admission documents to TaiwanICDF partner universities before each university’s specified deadline. They should then complete the online application process at https://web.icdf.org.tw/ICDF_TSP/WelcomeStart.aspx by March 15, 2025.
These scholarships present a remarkable opportunity for Palauan students to advance their education and gain international experience in Taiwan. The Embassy encourages all eligible students to apply and take advantage of these programs to further their academic and professional goals.
