Guam-based Consulate General of the Philippines Edgar Tomas Q Auxillian is here in Koror and conducting a second consular mission to perform passport reviews for Philippine nationals residing in Palau.

The review began on October 4 and ends October 7. As of October 6, a total of more than two hundred nationals has so far conducted their review.
Mr. Auxilian says as part of his duty as a consular, passport holders must secure a legal permit to obtain requirement of the Palauan Government.
Out of a total of four thousand Philippine nationals living here, more than two hundred passport holders have submitted their review during the day before the final day of the review.
The visit around countries within the region is conducted every two years.
The review has dealt with passports that have already expired and others which are soon to expire including a number of birth registrations and marriages. They will be processed in an electronic system to manila once they are brought back to Guam and will wait for their return after 6 to 8 weeks of processing.
