(Koror, Palau) Unofficial results of the recent national primary election shows incumbent President Tommy Remengesau Jr. with total of 4,951 votes out of the total vote cast of 9,903.  Surangel Whipps Jr. followed with 3,762 or 37.5% of total votes cast for the Office of the President.


For the vice presidential candidates, Raynold “Arnold” Oilouch leads with 4,555 or 45.9% of total vote cast.  Yositaka Adachi follows with 3,001 or 30% of total votes.

Total turn out for the primary election was 62.5% of the total registered voters.   [/restrict]
