“Final Tranche of 2014 Annual Assistance Funding Provided by ROC (Taiwan) Government Handed over to Palau”

 ROC (Taiwan) Ambassador Michael Y. K. Tseng to the Republic of Palau (ROP) presented a check amounting to half a million US dollars to Hon. Elbuchel Sadang, ROP Minister of Finance, on November 17.

The final tranche of 2014 annual assistance includes the following projects: second disbursement for ROP-ROC Aquaculture Project and Animal Production Project (AP/APP), fifth disbursement for Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) Research Facilities Expansion, and third disbursement for Peleliu State Government Office Building.

The ROC government treasures cordial relationship with the ROP and is happy to render continuous assistance to the people and government of the ROP. It is Taiwan’s utmost wish that people of Palau are benefited from projects through the stimulus fund from Taiwan.[/restrict]
