At 2:53pm yesterday, police station received a call reporting a house on fire in Ngerchemai hamlet, Koror State.
The house made of wood and concrete was already up in flames when fire trucks arrive at the scene at 3:10pm according to Public Information Office Jose Ise of the Ministry of Justice.
The house is said to belong to Dolmers. The house is said to be old and that Dolmers’s new house stood in front of the older house that caught fire.
“The house made of wood and concrete was already on fire and could not be saved but firefighters were able to save the new home of the owner Dolmers and other houses around it,” reported Ise.
There were no injuries reported as result of the fire.
Cause of the fire is not known and the incident is under investigation.
