Five archival staffs from the new Bureau of Archives & Media under the Ministry of State will be attending a two-week training in Germany funded by the Government of Germany.
The purpose of the training is to improve capacity for better protection and preservation of government records.
This training is organized and implemented by the Goethe Institute and visitors program of the Federal Republic of Germany. Other countries invited to this training of only one participants from each are Republic of Marshall Island, Samoa, PNG, Solomon Island and Tonga.

Palau National Archives was established by RPPL No. 11-4 “§402 within the Ministry of State and Executive Order No. 452 created a new Bureau of Archives & Media under the Ministry of State. This newly created Bureau is organized as follows: Division of Archives & Records Management shall be responsible for storage and preservation of historical government information and the Division of Media & Information Services shall be responsible for managing official media of the government.
