June 04, 2024- The Embassy of Japan in Palau is pleased to announce that it will hold a small photo exhibition in effort to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Palau. The photo exhibition will be highlighting how baseball was introduced to Palau by the Japanese before WWII as part of the efforts to celebrate the deep ties between the two countries.
This event will be held from Thursday, June 13, 2024 to Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Nippon Asahi Baseball field during the 1st International Baseball Classic matches. The photo exhibition is open to the public and free of charge but since it will be held during the baseball matches, we will adhere to the rules of the Nippon Asahi Baseball field, which is the gate entree fee. The Embassy of Japan invites everyone to come and see a bit of the history shared between Japan and Palau.
