Palau Aquatics announces two upcoming FREE events. As part of this year’s Independence Day celebrations, Palau Aquatics will host an OPEN WATER SWIM on Saturday September 30th at Skojio Ramp. This event will feature short distance individual swims (250 and 500 meters) and Palau’s first ever MIXED RELAY OPEN WATER EVENT. The mixed relay event will feature four-person teams with each person swimming 250 meters. Each team must have at least one female swimmer. This is a new and popular event on the international circuit and will be featured for the first time in this year’s Pacific Games. Palau Aquatics hopes it will become a regular feature in all Palau Open Water events.

Register by e-mail, at the pool between 4:30 and 7:00 PM or at the ramp on Saturday morning at 7 AM. All swimmers must check in at the ramp before 7:30 AM in anticipation of an 8 AM start.
