Koror, Palau – July 15, 2021: Building off the strong partnership the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has established with the Ministry of Education installed public school’s hygiene facilities. The Covid-19 Response Project helps increase the capacity of the communities to prevent, detect and response to outbreak. Through this project IOM handed over 200 hand soaps and sanitizers with 50 dispensers to the Ministry of Education. Through this effort, IOM will help meet the needs of MOE public schools for hygiene facilities and promotes practices of effective wash techniques. IOM is also helping to construct handwashing stations in selected public schools.
