September 17, 2023 50 members of “Gomizu Palau” and ” Japan club“gathered to clean up the streets of Palau.” Gomizu Palau” started its activities about 2 years ago. Every weekend in the evening, we pick up trash at a specific location.
So far, we have picked up trash at Icebox Park, Long Island Park, m-dock, t-dock, Track & Field, Nihonbashi, KB Bridge Koror Park, and Skojo.Near the ocean, we collect a lot of drifting plastic trash.
In town, we will collect a lot of cigarette butts.
This was the 105th cleanup activity for “Gomizu Palau. Many Japanese residents gathered for the first time for a joint event with the Japan club of Palau.
We will continue to pick up trash on weekends so that Palau can remain beautiful as it is now. Anyone is welcome to join!!
