On December 5, 2021, at 12:03 p.m. JASDF and the U.S. Air Force perform OCD at Skojo in Meyuns, Koror. The public is welcome to view the JASDF plane flying for OCD. This Japan-U.S. joint effort will deliver Christmas gifts for children in Palau while giving aircrews experience in airlift and strengthening the friendly cooperative relationship between Japan, the U.S. and Palau for the realization of “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”.
This year’s OCD are scheduled at various locations in Palau as followings.
JASDF has been participating in this operation since 2015, but this is the first time for JASDF to perform the drop in Koror. The gifts by the drop include school supply, clothing and toys, which were donated by international community services and non-governmental organizations.
