Christmas Drop in Koror and Kayangel
On Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, JASDF and the U.S. Air Force perform Christmas Drop at Skojo in Meyuns, Koror at 12:00 p.m. and in Kayangel at 12:30 p.m. The public is welcome to view the JASDF plane flying for Christmas Drop. This Japan-U.S. joint effort will deliver Christmas gifts for children in Palau while giving aircrews experience in airlift. This training will also contribute to strengthening the friendly cooperative relationship between Japan, the U.S. and Palau for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”
This year’s Christmas Drop by JASDF are scheduled at following locations in Palau.

JASDF has been participating in this training since 2015, and this is the third time for JASDF to perform the drop in Koror. The gifts by the drop include school supplies, clothing, books and toys, which were donated by international community services and non-governmental organizations.
