This is the 5th year that the Palau National Scholarship Board has administered the Ngeremlengui State Scholarship (NSS). The Government of Ngeremlengui State created this scholarship to support its young people in reaching their educational goals. The eligibility criteria require the recipient to be a graduating high school senior from Ngeremlengui, State, with at least one parent who is a registered voter of Ngeremlengui. The student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and must have been accepted to a post-secondary institution. As a recipient of NSS, the student shall receive a one-time award of $1,000.00 paid at the beginning of fall semester. PNSB Vice-Chairperson Kevin Polloi and PNSB Treasurer Caroline S. Skebong joined Honorable Ilolang Frances Remengesau, Governor of Ngeremlengui State as she presented the check to Mr. Josiah Madlutk while his proud Mother, Ms. Mesiwal Madlutk was next to him. Mr. Josiah Madlutk is also one of the 2021 MOFA Taiwan Government Scholarship recipients and will be pursuing his bachelor’s degree in information technology at Ming Chuan University, Taipei Taiwan.
