When you have a relationship with your Living Savior there is joy in your heart. It’s like the water Jesus offered to the Samaritan woman (the first missionary). Even in dry season, even in pain, you’ll have joy flowing within like water that goes through the wheel of water keeping the light shining in your heart.
A “wheel of water” refers to a device called a water wheel, which is a type of hydropower system that converts the kinetic energy of moving water into mechanical energy. It’s a large wheel with blades or buckets around its edge that catch the water flow, causing the wheel to rotate. This rotating motion can then be used to power various mechanisms, such as those in watermills. (I saw this in Forgotten Love [movie] and was amazed at how it empowered the flour mill]
I see the joy because of faith in Christ Jesus in the believers keeping them rejoicing even when the world rejects them and make fun of them. Even when they live without worldly goods. They are alive because of the joy in Christ. Jesus is alive in them and they love God, trusting they are just passing through. No need to hoard things. Love is enough. They are aware that they’re not perfect so they worship a perfect God.
Our LORD is alive and he is love. Yes he was ridiculed, scorched and was crucified, buried in a rich man’s tomb and on the third day he arose from the death. He was ascended to heaven. His Name is Jesus. I’m so glad I chose to believe in him. Someday I’m going to live with him in heaven. Truth!
