Attributing to the slight increase over a normally slow month is the reported end of the drought and the introduction of new charter airlines, Lion Air and NOK Airways that replaced Mega Maldives and Dynamic Airways.
People’s Republic of China continues to be the lead source market representing 55.29% of the market share. Japan follows with Republic of China behind Japan and the rest of the markets with minimal share.
According to report, 99.54% of arrivals are for tourism purpose while .46% is here for business.
Airlines servicing Palau include United Airlines, Delta Airlines, China Airlines, Korean Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Lion Airlines, Nok Air and Palau Pacific Air. [/restrict]
