A classroom teacher at Koror Elementary School has been accepted at JICA KCCP Training in Japan which will be held from 15th of May to 29th of June this year.

Daphne Nestor will be participating in leadership training on improving mathematics lesson delivery in primary and secondary schools.

This training will allow Nestor the opportunities to not only understand theories and methodologies but also to acquire practical skills in lesson structure design, lesson plan and class evaluation.

There are other participants from Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Samoa, South Sudan, Kiribati, Kenya, and Ethiopia as well.

Participants will also formulate an action plan and describing the procedure they will use to disseminate the knowledge and ideas acquired and discussed.
