A 44-year-old Palauan male was found dead inside the Glib Barracks in Malakal at 12:40 p.m. on June 22 from alleged suicide.
According to the police report, a family member of the victim called the police to report the incident.
The family member of the victim reportedly felt suspicious after the victim failed to answer their several phone calls, hence prompting them to go to his house.
When the family members arrived, they allegedly found the man hanging lifeless inside the barracks.
According to the police report, when they arrived at the scene, the body had already been brought down by the victim’s family.
Police are still conducting further investigation on the case.
