An old man was found dead inside his car which was parked along the sidewalk near the Dewill Statue in Topside, Koror on September 14 at around 5pm.
The man was later identified by the police as Spis Mindar who was said to be around 60 years old.
Public Safety Director Aloysius Alonz said that the initial investigation of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) suggested the possibility of cardiac arrest as the cause of Mindar’s death.
Alonz, however, said that they are still awaiting the release of the medical report to be able to confirm the exact cause of the man’s death.
The officers that were probing the scene suggested that Mindar’s death occurred very early morning on the said date since his car was found with headlights still on. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
