September 26, 2016 (Ngardmau) Unofficial results of the Ngardmau State gubernatorial primary, shows incumbent Renguul Masahiro leading over other three candidates vying for the Office of Governor of Ngardmau State with 77 votes out of 237 votes cast.

Running close second is Blesoch Adelkeroi, a current legislator of Ngardmau State with 68. Right behind him is Bradley Kumangai with 64 and Sakai Ngirchokebai with 22.
According to this unofficial results, Masahiro and Adelkeroi will go to the polls on November 1, 2016 on the final leg of this gubernatorial race. [/restrict]
