Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) awarded the Masami Siksei Memorial Scholarship (MSMS) to Ms. Tarmau S. Ngiramengior for this school year 2019-2020.

The late Mr. Masami Siksei was a strong advocate for education and his family has established this new scholarship as a tribute to him.

There is only one award available in the amount of $5,000.00.  A recipient of this scholarship must major in a preferred field of study as identified by the donor, must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and be actively involved in the community and other extracurricular activities.

Ms. Ngiramengior is a sophomore at the University of Hawaii in Hilo majoring in biology (pre-medicine track). She is an outstanding student who excelled academically (3.95 GPA) and was active in her school as well as her community which resulted in her being selected as the recipient among all the other applicants.  Mrs. Sophia Seid who is the daughter of the late Masami Siksei presented the award to Ms. Ngiramengior as PNSB Vice-Chairperson Kevin Polloi witnessed the special awarding.
