The Embassy of the Republic of Palau in Tokyo, Japan, had the distinguished honor to commence the Presentation of Credentials for His Excellency, Mr. Peter ADELBAI, Ambassador-designate, to His Imperial Majesty Naruhito, the Emperor of Japan.
At 10:28 AM a special police envoy escorting the Imperial vehicle, transported Ambassador ADELBAI to the Imperial Palace along with his accompanying suite, Mr. Cristian Etpison NICOLESCU, Minister Counsellor of the Republic of Palau.
The ceremony took place in the prestigious Ceremonial Hall, the Matsu-no-ma, at the Imperial Palace from 11:00 AM where Ambassador ADELBAI presented his Letter of Credence and his predecessor’s Letter of Recall to His Imperial Majesty Naruhito, the Emperor of Japan. After His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, received Ambassador ADELBAI’s credentials, the Emperor shared a brief conversation with the newly accredited Ambassador.
Also present at the ceremony were H.E. Mr. KANEKO Genjiro, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, and Mr. Cristian Etpison NICOLESCU, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Palau.
