The Ministry of State (MOS) conducted their last cleanup drive for the year as part of the Adopt a Highway project mandated by President Tommy Remengesau, Jr.

No less than State Minister Faustina Rehuher-Marugg herself joined the MOS staff by collecting trash and debris from Ngermid in Koror to the Hawaiian Rock.

President Tommy Remengesau, Jr. previously introduced the Adopt-a-Highway Project during a cabinet meeting on May 7 and tasked each Ministry to adopt an area and pick trash and debris from road segments.

The initiative was part of the efforts to eliminate plastic trash and debris and prevent them from reaching the ocean. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
