2 SEPTEMBER 2022– In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles and interest in sport at a young age, the Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC), through the Australian Embassy and PacificAus Sports, have donated sporting equipment to the Ministry of Education’s Physical Education (PE) Department. In addition to the donations, PNOC will work with schools to provide training to PE teachers to ensure students make full use of Federation standard equipment.
Both Australia and Palau have mutual interests in sport with Australia supporting numerous athletes train and compete in Australia as well as supporting local competitions and activities that foster disability inclusion and promote healthy lifestyles.
