Koror, Palau – The Palau Conservation Society (PCS) is always thankful to receive a donation from its donors. In this time of pandemic and world-wide financial crisis, the local conservation NGO understands the economic challenges that businesses are facing with a reduced customer base and challenges in the supply chain.
On August 31, 2021, PCS received a generous donation of $5,000 from Marcello and Sandra Pierantozzi. The Pierantozzi’s presented a collective donation on behalf of their business establishments: SPACO Finance ($2,000), Belvedere Apts ($1,000), Suns Flowershop ($1,000), and MVP Space Rental ($1,000). Mr. Adair Sumang presented the donation to Ms. Michelle Ngirutang, PCS’s Executive Director in place of Mr. & Mrs. Pierantozzi.
Mrs. Pierantozzi is one of the ten founding members of Palau Conservation Society. She and her husband are among PCS’ earliest donors contributing over $75,000 over the years. She is still active in PCS and is a member of the current board of directors.
PCS is extremely grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Pierantozzi for their continued generosity over the years and for their leadership in protecting Palau’s unique environment for present and future generations.
