In its Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Annual and Performance Report, the Ngchesar State government acknowledged facing significant challenges due to a shortfall in resources despite ambitious objectives.
The report highlights achievements such as securing commercial leases for piggery and cropping ventures. Additionally, the state has constructed eight fish cages and initiated the development of clam farms. Plans for expanding aquaculture projects are underway, and negotiations with private investors to enhance these initiatives are ongoing.
Furthermore, completing several Critical Infrastructure Projects (CIP) underscores the state’s commitment to development. Renovation efforts at NSPLBOT, restoration of historical Japanese sites, and other remnants of the war era have been successfully accomplished. Road construction projects are also in progress, aimed at enhancing transportation infrastructure within the state.
Despite the obstacles encountered, Ngchesar State expressed pride in meeting various goals in the economic, social development, environmental preservation, and the CIP agenda.
