Dear Palau Community College,

I am writing to express my deep concern and sadness regarding the recent removal of the beautiful trees between the dormitory and the track and field area. Specifically, the loss of the largest tree, which held a special place in my heart, has left me broken hearted.

This majestic tree exuded a unique charm that made it my favorite in Palau. Its presence provided solace and joy during my walks at the track, enhancing my exercise routine with a sense of serenity and connection to nature. Witnessing its sudden absence, a part of myself has been lost.

It is disconcerting to think that these trees, which likely stood for over a century, were felled without reason. Their removal has not only taken away the scenic beauty of the area but has also left a void in the hearts of those who appreciated and valued their existence.

I implore you to consider the long-term impact of such decisions on the environmental and emotional fabric of Palau. Preserving the natural beauty that sets Palau apart is vital for the well-being of current and future generations. I urge you to re-evaluate the removal of these trees.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I sincerely hope that steps can be taken to protect and preserve the remaining natural treasures of Palau.

Sincerely,

Bedul W
