Keiden Kintol joins the Palau Judiciary as its Deputy Administrative Director (DAD).

In this position, he will work with the Judiciary’s leadership to direct the day-to-day operations of the Judiciary and to improve its administrative functions.

Kintol holds a master’s degree in public administration  and  a  bachelor’s degree in international tourism from the University of Guam. He also earned a master’s degree in education at San Diego State University. He worked as head of the Business Administration program at Palau Community College for 11 years and used the leadership experience he gained there in later positions in government.

He comes to the Judiciary from the National government where he worked as Special Assistant to the Vice President and Public Information Officer for the Ministry of Justice. In those roles, he worked closely with the community and media outlets, writing press releases, speeches, and other communications pieces for the Vice President.

Kintol also dealt with the Republic’s United Nations treaties and conventions involving the Ministry of Justice.

He seeks to work hard to learn as much as possible about his new position in order to most effectively contribute to the overall administration of justice. (PR)
