Palau Royal Resort (PRR) donated a check of $1,200 to Palau Conservation Society (PCS) on August 3.
On hand to present the check to PCS’ executive director Ms. Bola Majekobaje was PRR General Manager Mr. Fumihiko Kitakuni. The check concluded the last of the monthly contributions from PRR when they entered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with PCS July last year. Since July 2017 PRR has contributed $3,600 dollars to the conservation work in Palau.
PRR continues to be one of many Corporate Partners for Conservation (CPCs) that contribute to PCS. The luxury hotel displays commendable green environmental practices throughout their daily hotel operations. Every year they assemble their christmas tree made of reusable pet bottles from guests. They also have an efficient water catchment system that conserves water.
PCS continues to raise funds to support ongoing conservation initiatives throughout Palau in high hopes of contributing to its vision of “Healthy Ecosystems for a Healthy Palau”. The valuable contributions from PRR and other CPCs show the importance of PCS’s conservation efforts throughout Palau. Any company or interested individuals wishing to become a CPC or make one time donation is highly encourage to contact PCS Development Officer Genna Saiske at 488-3993/4716 or via email at gsaiske@palauconservation.org.
