This year in August 9, 10, 11, 21, Peace Winds Palau Office and Ministry of Health and Human Services (MHHS) conducted a free KENSING(health screening ) in Peleliu, Koror and Angaur State, with an aim to reduce and prevent the risk of Non-Communicable Diseases within the community of Palau.  We held our health screening program at state office in Peleliu, PCC Assembly Hall in Koror and Community Center in Angaur.

In collaboration with MHHS, with all of our doctors and nurses, we were able to attain 105 participants for health screening, during our four days-program.

This is 4th drive to implement the health screening in this project year and until today, we had approached 461 participants in 6 states including Southwest islands. We will share the data and analysis with MHHS and seek for further collaboration.

This year’s programs funding comes from Japan Government grant aid for NGO project, supporting the mission and goals for Peace Winds Palau Program in collaboration with MHHS, with an aim to alleviate Non-Communicable Diseases within the republic of Palau.
