The Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) is now accepting applications for its newly developed Spring Internship Program, that will start on January 25, 2021 and end on May 7, 2021. The program is designed to involve High School and College students interested in Marine Conservation.

Due to the continuing global pandemic, however, PICRC is not yet able to open its international internship program.  Instead, PICRC will launch its newly developed local internship program that aims to teach local students about conservation, while helping them develop work ethics.

Students are expected to be at the Center three times a week, dedicating each day to the development of different skills. “Our new program aims to involve students in the day-to-day work done by the different areas within the Center, while strengthening their knowledge about marine conservation, and motivating them into taking action through the development of programs for the general public,” expressed PICRC CEO Yimnang Golbuu. “Commitment, passion, and willingness to learn are the main requirements of this internship,” he added.
