This coming Friday, February 26, Palau International Coral Reef Center’s (PICRC) Practicum and Spring Interns will be having a special program at the Palau Aquarium. As a part of their internship program, the student interns learn about conservation from PICRC researchers, and use this knowledge to organize outreach activities for the community. Students have organized activity booths, presentations, and demonstrations for the general public.

This Friday’s activity will be focusing on three different kinds of ecosystems found in Palau, displaying and providing information about Coral Reefs, Mangroves and Seagrass.

“Aquarium Family Friday” will be an ongoing activity in the upcoming months, scheduled to be held on the last Friday of every month, until April. This special program will be open to the public from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, free of charge.
