Airai, Palau – After an exhaustive hiring process, the Board of Directors of Palau National Communications Corporation has selected Mr. Simon Fraser to be the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for PNCC, as confirmed in Board
Resolution on September 26, 2022.
Originally from Ireland, Mr. Fraser comes to Palau from Barbados where he held the position of Commercial Director for telecommunications company Digicel with responsibility for all consumer services including mobile, fiber broadband, TV, and digital applications. No stranger to the Pacific, Mr. Fraser first worked in the region in 2012 in Nauru before moving on to become CEO of Digicel Vanuatu. He later moved with his Nauruan wife to the Caribbean to take on senior commercial leadership roles with Digicel in Bermuda and Barbados.

Mr. Fraser holds an MBS in Human Resource Management from Dublin City University, an MSc in Environmental Planning from Queens University Belfast, a BA in Sociology from NUI Galway, and a Diploma in Economics from Independent College Dublin.
