The chairman of Taiwan’s Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su (SKH) Memorial Hospital was invited to address Palau’s national congress during its sixth joint session on October 10.
SKH Chairman Eugene T.C. Wu, who had just been awarded by Palau’s government with an honorary citizenship earlier this year, will be welcomed by Palau’s congress at the National Capitol.
The SKH has been recognized by Palau for its contributions in the medical field. It has established a medical cooperation with Palau’s Ministry of Health (MOH).
Over 2,500 Palauan patients had benefited from the medical referral program of the SKH since the cooperation with the country was launched in 2007. It had also dispatched more than 140 medical missions to Palau that benefited over 5,000 patients and had also donated medical equipment to the Belau National Hospital, among others. (Rhealyn C.
