The honorable Vice President J. Uduch Sengebau Senior had the pleasure of meeting personnel from the United States Government, specially employed by U.S. Congressman Greogorio Kilili Camacho Sablan who paid a visit to the Vice President’s office this week.
Congressman Greogorio Kilili Camacho Sablan was originally scheduled to meet with The Honorable Vice President J. Uduch Sengebau Senior, but he sadly became unwell before the flight. Both Mr. Brian Modeste, professional staff-majority, and Mr. Kenneth Degenfelder, professional staff-minority, stood in his place. Also present at the meeting was charge d’affaires, James A. Boughner.
The meeting provided an opportunity for The Honorable Vice President J. Uduch Sengebau Senior, Mr. Modeste, and Mr. Degenfelder to discuss matters pertaining to support for veterans in Palau, justice, safety, security, and affairs. They also discussed enhancing the Ministry of Justice’s technical assistance and capacity building in order to handle issues like case prosecution, cybercrime, and training in such areas.
In their discussion with The Honorable Vice President J. Uduch Sengebau Senior, the U.S. Staff Delegation expressed their gratitude and promised to keep Congressman Greogorio Kilili Camacho Sablan informed of the outcome of their meeting.
