Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) received a $5,000 donation from Surangel and Sons Co. for this year’s KONQER obstacle course challenge.
For three consecutive years, Konqer, the largest obstacle course race event in the region, is coming back to Palau. Every year, Palau Visitors Authority and Konqer Sports host a two-day event, each year with a different theme.
This year is themed as, Zombie Apocalypse tour and Palau is the last of the circuit, following Saipan and Guam. The event will be held on January 18th (Eco-Race) in Ngchesar State, Mesekelat Waterfall and January 19th (Obstacle Course Race) in Koror State, Long Island Conservation Park. The two-day event promotes wellness through play, fused with elements of culture and history.
Surangel & Sons Co. has been a champion supporter since Konqer first set foot in Palau. PVA would like to thank Surangel & Son’s for their generous support for one of Micronesia’s largest events and for being instrumental in making this event possible.
