The Team Palau Table Tennis led by veteran player Orachel Watanabe played in team matches that ended 21 November 2023. The Team Event composed of the top three players from each country fighting it out in a best out of 5 match concluded with Team Palau showcasing resilience, drive, and passion giving their opponents unexpected tough matches.
The women’s team played against Fiji and Tahiti in their pool with all their might but fell short placing third in their pool.
The Mens team fought hard against a tough Fiji and PNG Team. The Mens team gave the upset of the tourney defeating the ferocious Wallis and Fatuna. The team continues their preparations as they await the doubles, mixed doubles and singles events in the coming days.
