The Bureau of Aging, Disability, and Gender received sacks of tapioca, taro and sweet potatoes donated by Osisang and Olilai Chilton from their farm at Elechui, Aimeliik.

On December 3rd, The Bureau of Aging, Disability, and Gender received five sacks of Tapioca, Taro and sweet potatoes donated by Osisang and Olilai Chilton from their farm at Elechui, Aimeliik. The Chilton families first harvest of Tapioca, Taro and Sweet Potatoes goes to support the senior citizens daily lunch meal program at the center and homebound. The donations were presented with appreciation to the senior citizens and also to those individuals who donated plants to the Chilton’s farm earlier this year in time for harvesting this holiday season, especially from DirraUdes Ngirmang,Miyako Andrew, Lavern Merep, Marilyn Oling Omelau, Taiwan Technical Farm and Ambassador Wallace M.
