Koror, Palau – On September 16, 2022 the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) donated $20,000 to support Palau in hosting the 1st Pacific Ecological Security Conference.
The generous donation was presented by her Excellency Ambassador Jessica C. Lee to Minister Steven Victor. On behalf of Palau, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, & the Environment would like to express its grateful gratitude to Her Excellency Ambassador Lee and the Republic of China (Taiwan) Embassy for their continued support in Palau’s goals of resiliency and food security #KeledANgercheled.
With 107 participants registered, the conference will take place from October 3 -5, 2022 and will bring island leaders, agricultural and natural resource managers, technical partners, and regional organizations towards the theme ““Promoting Pacific Island Climate Resilience, Food Security, and Sustainability”
