Tides of life is a metaphor comparing the highs and lows in life to the ocean tides. Entering into the year 2025 is chaotic at best from plane crashes, bombings, fires, deaths, adverse weather to political upheaval, all of which are affecting the entire globe.
We strive to live our best life amidst the chaos looming over us globally, which impacts us either directly or indirectly all because of choices made by people.
Greed and status are linked to chaos within governments and life in general.
Some people use their roles in leadership positions or statuses within communities or homes to meet their deep unmet emotional needs.
The World of new is a battle ground much like the wars of old.
Medical care has improved tremendously due to the advancement in technology, however there are drawbacks in solely relying on technologies. Such drawbacks would be depersonalization of care, the lack of human contact and empathy, loss of basic clinical skills due to the dependence on technological systems, cyber-attacks on patient records and it can be costly to some people, who do not have the means to get better care.
The choices made by leaders will impact the health and welfare of people and the sustainability of a nation.
This world we live in has seen and experienced its share of destructions created by humans which has adversely affected all living beings. The ecosystems are damaged due to choices made by people whose goals are not only selfish, but filled with greed for materialistic wealth and power.
As we navigate through life, the choices we make can impact not just ourselves, but it could potentially impact all beings and nations…
Someone once said, “Our choices define us, revealing our values, priorities, and character.”
The Motto of the US Navy Seabees is as follows:
“With compassion for others we build ~ We fight for peace with freedom.”
It essentially translates to, we build with empathy, and we fight for peace with liberty.
Praying for leaders across the globe to lead by example, make choices that’ll bring forward peace, harmony and sustainability for all beings and nations.
